Masoud Pezeshkian, the newly elected President, outlined his administration's approach during an interview with Khamenei.ir on Thursday. He emphasized the importance of widespread engagement across all sectors of the country to advance national affairs and implement overarching policies.

Iran Press/Iran news: To ensure a broad-based and inclusive selection for his cabinet, Pezeshkian stated, “The first step was to invite all political currents, groups, and figures to nominate individuals who can assist the government. This initiative aimed to foster national unity. Various lists were submitted by reformist, conservative, independent groups, and political figures. These lists are currently being refined to narrow down to four or five candidates for each position. Ultimately, we will consult with the Supreme Leader to finalize these selections.”

He highlighted that the ongoing process of selecting ministers is a result of collective insights from across the nation's political spectrum.

In response to a question about his plans to maintain stability and avoid conflicts within the country, Pezeshkian explained, “We adhere to the Supreme Leader's overarching policies, which have been our guiding principles even during debates and elections. These policies illuminate our path and define our goals. Following this, experts, intellectuals, managers, and officials must devise programs aligned with these policies. If we accept this and draft laws in line with the system’s policies, taking responsibility for their implementation, then conflicts and disputes become meaningless.”

Pezeshkian's approach underscores a commitment to collective decision-making and adherence to established policies to ensure harmonious governance and national unity.
