Iran Press/ Iran news: Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on Wednesday - January 3th - during a meeting with of eulogizers of Ahl al-Bayt, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Hazrat Fatimah (as), and Imam Khomeini, paid tribute to Haj Qasem Soleimani.
He said: "Among the prominent and distinguished qualities of Hazrat Fatimah (as), is her Jihad of clarification.
The Leader emphasized: "In our time, the greatest person who resorted to jihad of clarification was Imam Khomeini and the greatest thing that was done with the jihad of clarification was what our honorable Imam did. With jihad of clarification Imam did what others could not do with any other hardware or software, nor did they hope to do, with logic."
Ayatollah Khamenei added: "Imam overthrew the corrupt, disgraceful dictatorial and autocratic monarchy of Pahlavi and established the Islamic and religious democratic government with the Jihad of clarification."
The eulogy community, which is part of the soft power of Islamic society, should know its duty, the Leader noted.
Ayatollah Khamenei elsewhere stated, "The world's powerful states make the most important investments for art, cinema and advertising because they are soft power. The art of eulogy and an entity called the House of Eulogy is one of the most important parts of the soft power of the Islamic society."
"Soft power is more penetrating and effective than hard power. World powers such as the US, for example, have atomic bombs, they have all kinds of advanced weapons, and at the same time, they make the most important investments in art, cinema, Hollywood, and advertising. Because cinema is soft power. Storytelling and movies are soft power. Hard power has an immediate effect, then wears off."
Hard power means that America comes and stays in Afghanistan for 20 years, the Leader noted and spends billions. In the end, it is forced to flee from Afghanistan with the hatred of the people, this power is hard.
Hard power means that America comes and takes over all of Iraq with full equipment, overthrows the Iraqi government, and takes the place of the government itself. After about 20 years, the most hated government in Iraq is the American government.
