The Russian Foreign Minister said that Moscow, Ankara, and Tehran want to start a dialogue between the Syrian government and the opposition, and are coordinating regarding developments in Syria.

Iran Press/Europe: Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced on Saturday: "Today we reached an agreement with Iran and Turkey to make a strong request to achieve security and stability in Syria."

Sergey Lavrov, added: "We want to ensure that the country of Syria remains unified."

On November 27, the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham armed group launched a significant offensive in Aleppo and Idlib provinces, capturing several areas. Since then, Syrian government forces have engaged in intense clashes to reclaim lost territory.
