Chief of Judiciary Ebrahim Raeisi

Tehran (IP) - Chief of Judiciary Ebrahim Raeisi has warned that public prosecutors across the country must not be lenient on those who hoard healthcare and pharmaceutical items, driving prices upwards, at a time when the coronavirus has spread in the country.

Iran PressIran news: Speaking to the country's top medical community, Judiciary Chief Ebrahim Raeisi told prosecutors across the country: "Do not be lenient on dealers who hoard healthcare items because people's health cannot be compromised."

Raeisi said: "The hoarding of healthcare items in this situation is playing with the lives of ordinary people and this cannot be ignored."

The Chief of the Judiciary also appreciated the 24-hour efforts of his colleagues to grant prisoners leave.
