Iran Press/ Iran News: The meeting was held on Thursday, December 9, 2021, and attendants addressed the ways to continue the talks over the agreement, and it was supposed that talks on Iran proposed texts to be continued.
After the meeting, Iran's top nuclear negotiator, Ali Bagheri Kani, told IRNA that he saw no obstacles to reaching an agreement in Vienna talks if necessary grounds were in place.
He said that all participating countries, including Iran, offered their views about the prospect of talks during today's session.
The chief Iranian negotiator in Vienna started his working day with a joint meeting with Ma Zhaoxu, China's Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs and Permanent Representative of Russia to the International Organizations in Vienna Mikhail Ulyanov.
In a Twitter message, Ali Bagheri Kani, after his second meeting with Enrique Mora, Deputy Secretary-General of the European External Action Service, said that Iran, to secure people's rights & interests, is determined to reach a good deal.
Iran's deputy minister said that Iran will continue to engage seriously and is determined to reach a good deal that secures our nation's rights & interests.
Ali Bagheri Kani, Iran's chief negotiator, arrived in Vienna, the Austrian capital, on Thursday morning at the head of a delegation to continue the Vienna talks to lift the oppressive sanctions.
