Beirut (IP) – Israeli forces have launched airstrikes on the Al Shuouth area in southern Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, according to local news sources. The pre-dawn raids reportedly struck four separate locations, escalating tensions in the already volatile region.

Iran Press/West Asia: While the Lebanese media confirmed the airstrikes, details about casualties and the extent of the damage have yet to be released.

These latest strikes are part of an ongoing Israeli military campaign in southern Lebanon, which began on Monday, October 2. In a significant development, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of the Hezbollah resistance movement, was martyred during an Israeli air raid on Saturday.

In response, Hezbollah has not remained silent. Since Monday morning, the movement has launched retaliatory operations against Israeli military positions and settlements in northern occupied territories.
