Tehran (IP) - The Adviser to the President on Ethnic and Religious Minorities Affairs stressed that holding the Islamic unity conference would positively affect Islamic scholars getting together, getting familiar with each other, and interacting perfectly.

Iran PressIran News: In an interview with Iran Press on the sidelines of the 35th closing ceremony of Islamic Unity, Mamousta Abdul Salam Karimi highlighted the way that holding such conferences on unity could increase the awareness of nations and be a way to exchange experiences.

With knowledge and awareness unity could spread among the Islamic Ummah, he noted.

Mamousta Abdul Salam Karimi also said: "We have a lot in common with Islamic countries and we hope to be able to train people to get closer to each other and avoid differences."

The 35th edition of the Islamic Unity Conference wrapped up in Tehran on Saturday, October 23, with prominent Muslim scholars, intellectuals, and thinkers from across the globe exchanging their views on the latest issues challenging the world of Islam.
