Tehran (IP): The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies Operations Manager in Iran, in a meeting with the President of the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS), emphasized that the IRCS has an exemplary reputation in the world.

Iran PressIran News: According to Iran's Red Crescent Society, Martin Fisher, IFRC Operations Manager in Iran, met with Pir Hossein Kolivand, President of the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) and expressed satisfaction with the implementation of the IRCS' programs, calling for the transfer and sharing of experiences to solve the problems caused by drought.

Martin Fisher added in this meeting: "The Iranian Red Crescent Society has an exemplary reputation in the world, which by thinking and planning, effective measures in the field of assistance in times of crisis and normal conditions, which are undoubtedly reflected in a broader platform, namely the federation, can be very useful."

IFRC Operations Manager in Iran called the idea and knowledge of digging the aqueduct (called Qanat)  by Iranian experts unique and in line with international approaches.

By increasing cooperation and interaction, good solutions can be achieved," he said.
