The foreign ministers of Iraq and Jordan met in Abu Dhabi on Saturday to review the latest political developments related to Iraq and strengthening bilateral relations.

Iran PressMiddle East: In this meeting, which was held on Saturday evening on the sidelines of the "Sir Bani Yas" international conference in Abu Dhabi, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations.

According to the statement of the Iraqi Foreign Ministry, Fouad Hossein gave a summary of the political developments in Iraq, the formation of the new government and the conditions of the future stage of this country.

The Iraqi Foreign Minister emphasized that Baghdad hopes for the support of neighboring countries and efforts to continue Iraq's cooperation with the Arab world and its region.

The two sides also agreed to hold a meeting within the framework of the tripartite coordination mechanism (Iraq, Egypt, Jordan) with the participation of the Arab countries in the Persian Gulf early next year. 219
