Iran Press/ Iran News: In a meeting with a group of Basij members (voluntary forces) held on the occasion of Basij Week, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi stated that the will and motivation of the Basij members to defend the security of the country and the people is derived from the correct and timely analysis of the situation. Raisi added: "The view and act of those who prefer the well-being and comfort of others to their own well-being and comfort is very valuable and praiseworthy."
Stating that the current era of Iran is witnessing ups and downs like the previous eras and the actors of each era are exposed to tests according to the conditions of their era, the president said: "Efforts to maintain the security of this system and the people will spread many blessings in the society."
President Raisi referred to the interpretation of martyr Qassem Soleimani about the holy system of the Islamic Republic of Iran, assimilating it to the holy Shrine, saying: "The Islamic Republic of Iran is the only system in the world that has been the flag bearer in confronting the domination system, and the numerous conspiracies and seditions of the enemies against this system since the beginning of the victory of Iran's Islamic Revolution until now, including the plots of Mojahedin-e-Khalq Organization (MKO), 8 years of Iran-Iraq imposed war. The seditions of recent years was aimed at stopping the great movement of the Islamic Revolution and prevent the spread of the spirit of Basiji among different nations."
Despite all the conspiracies and sanctions of the enemy, the progress of our nation in all fields has continued with strength, and basically the anger and discomfort of the enemies also originates from this issue, said the President, adding: "Basij is one of the great honors of the Islamic system and the Iranian nation."
Raisi went on to say: "This Pure tree has had many fruits until today and will continue to do so, and definitely, the enemy will not do anything against the strong will of the people and the Basijis today."
