Islamabad (IP) - The newly appointed Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Pakistan submitted his credentials to the President of the country, Arif Alvi, in a ceremony on Thursday.

Iran PressAsia: Reza Amiri Moghadam paid a visit to the Aiwan e Sadar (President House) in Islamabad, where he was welcomed by the staff and Guard of Honour by Pakistan's Army.

The ambassador emphasized Tehran's unique view to expand all-round cooperation with Islamabad.

He further presented a report on the latest level of bilateral relations and his plans to expand Iran-Pakistan relations, especially helping to increase economic and commercial cooperation.

Amiri Moghadam said at the ceremony: "Interaction with friendly and Muslim countries, especially neighbors including Pakistan, is the priority of the Iranian administration's foreign policy."
