Iran Press/ Iran news: Member of the Expediency Council Mohammad-Reza Aref cast his ballot at the Hussainiya of Jamaran in Tehran on Friday morning.
After participating in the elections, Aref stated the 'republic' means the presence of the people, and the presence of the people means the elections, and the elections are the ballot boxes.
He underlined that people's demands must be met within the constitution's framework.
The Iranian Minister of Sport and Youth, Massoud Soltanifar, also cast his ballot by attending Hussainiya of Jamaran in Tehran.
Former Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly Ali Larijani also cast his ballot in the Sari City of Mazandaran Province.
After participating in the elections, the Minister of Intelligence of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mahmoud Alavi, noted that the maximum presence of the people in the elections would help the president serve the people better.
