Iran Press/ Asia: In the 11th round of the competitions held in Dushanbe, the capital city of Tajikistan, the Iranian men's team won the championship snatching three gold, two silver, and one bronze medal in seven weight categories.
On the second day of the Asian Kurash Championships underway in Tajikistan, Fatemeh Barmaki defeated all of her rivals and reached the final in the +87 kg category.
Barmaki then overcame her rival from Vietnam and stood first in the weight category.
Kurash refers to a number of folk wrestling styles practiced in Central Asia. The English name comes from the term for "wrestling" in some Turkic languages.
