Iran Press/ America: The Recess has participated in various festivals, including the Izmir International Short Film Festival and the Festival de Cine Chileno de Quilpué. The film has so far won Best Actor at the 33rd Living Skies Student Film Festival in Canada, Best Short Story at the 18th Annual Oxford Film Fest, Best Feature Film at the 24th The Johns Hopkins Film Festival in the United States, and the Best Short Drama story in the 15th San Francisco International Frozen Festival.
Established in 2008, The IndieFEST Film Awards is an avant-garde worldwide competition that strives to give talented directors, producers, actors, creative teams, and new media creators the positive exposure they deserve. It discovers and honors the achievements of filmmakers who produce high-quality films and new media.
