Iran Press/Iran news: Speaking on Friday during his visit to Bushehr province, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi visited the house of the "Rais Ali Delvari" Museum and met with a group of Delvar people.
"Rais Ali Delvari" was a national hero who organized popular resistance against the British troops who had invaded Iran in 1915.
President Raisi said: "The great martyrs the people of this land donated to the Islamic Revolution shows that the resistance, knowing the enemy and fighting the enemy are, and will always be, in the blood of Iranians".
The President described Bushehr and Delvar as the manifestation of the resistance of the people of the province against the aggressors and said, "Rais Ali Delvari is a famous figure who has become a symbol of resistance against the aggressors in the south of the country".
Stating that Bushehr province has sacrificed countless great martyrs to defend the values, homeland, and honor of the country against the aggressors, President Raisi added, "Rais Ali Delvari's ideology is still going on in the people of this region".
