Tehran (IP)- In a recent telephone conversation, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and Sergey Lavrov, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Iran and Russia, discussed the latest developments in the two countries' relations as well as the situation in Russia following the Wagner case.

Iran PressIran news: During their conversation, Iran's top diplomat expressed his support for the rule of law in all countries, including Russia's neighbor and friend.

He also criticized any foreign interference in the internal affairs of nations.

Amir-Abdollahian expressed confidence that Russia would soon overcome this crisis.

Lavrov referred to statements made by the President of Russia and emphasized the importance of upholding the rule of law with regard to territorial integrity.

He added that Russia would quickly overcome this situation.

The Russian Foreign Minister also highlighted the high-level relations between Iran and Russia and stressed the importance of pursuing bilateral agreements. 

Overall, both sides expressed their commitment to maintaining strong ties between their countries despite any challenges they may face.
