Iran Press/ Iran News: Expressing his satisfaction with the fruitfulness of the new approach to the country's diplomatic apparatus and the unprecedented improvement of the level of the country's trade relations with its neighbours, the Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi called on all executive bodies to adhere to the requirements of this approach.
Speaking in today's meeting of the cabinet, Ebrahim Raisi referred to the talks between the leaders of the Guarantor States of the Astana Process and the meeting with the presidents of Russia and Turkey and said: "Thank God, the move to strengthen the neighborhood policy in the diplomacy of the Islamic Republic of Iran that has been initiated by the Popular Administration is paying off. In the bilateral meetings, both Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan insisted on the implementation of the agreements made with our country, which requires diligent follow-up by the relevant institutions".
In terms of the request of the President of Russia to Iran to complete the Rasht-Astara railway line, the President assigned the First Vice-President to follow up the implementation process of this important transit corridor in cooperation with the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development.
In another part of his speech, Raisi emphasized congratulating the remarkable successes of Iranian students in the international Olympiads, the medal-winning students, teachers, and people involved in the country's education system, and highlighted the necessity of continuing the government's support for gifted students to repeat the successes and called on the Minister of Education to provide an environment to improve students' interest and education in humanities.
Raisi also praised those involved in organizing a 10-kilometre party ceremony on the day of Eid al-Ghadir, and stated: "This valuable action, which is a magnificent manifestation of bringing Ghadir to the context of society and family, is a very good example for occasions and other valuable religious concepts. It will protect the society from many destructive anti-religious attacks."
The president also emphasized the need for a timely response to scepticism and false allegations and added: "You have a duty not to be passive when dealing with those who instil doubts in the society, and answer the doubts by providing solid and detailed explanations."
In the second part of the session, after listening to a report from the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad about the latest status of the guaranteed purchase of wheat and the payment of wheat farmers' demands, Raisi appreciated the valuable efforts of farmers in providing this strategic commodity for the country and instructed the relevant authorities not to allow any interruption in the payment of wheat farmers' demands.
