Tehran (IP) - The chief commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said: "Iran's armed forces give a crushing response to any threats and malice of the enemies."

Iran PressIran news: Speaking in the military drill of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in Abu-Musa Island, Maj. Gen. Hossein Salami, IRGC commander said: "The Muslim nations and governments in the west Asia are capable of establishing the security of the entire region in a fraternal atmosphere and do not need the presence of any foreigner."

Salami added: "This is the constant message of the Iranian nation that no foreigner will be allowed to be present and rule over the fate of Muslims."

The commander emphasized: "All insecurities, wars, destabilizations, divisions, and unrest in West Asia result from the policies of countries such as the United States and the Zionist regime."

On Wednesday, the military drill of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps commenced, focusing on Abu-Musa Island in the eastern Persian Gulf, which is located 70 kilometers south of Bandar-e Shenas. The Persian Gulf drill began with high-ranking officials such as IRGC top Commander Hossein Salami, IRGC Navy Commander Admiral Alireza Tangsiri, and other Iranian Armed Forces commanders and officials on Abu Musa Island—the drill aimed to ensure the solid defense of the islands in the Persian Gulf.

The drill is titled Shahid Es'haq Dara and is designed to demonstrate the power and readiness of the IRGC Navy in safeguarding the security of Persian Gulf islands. It involves various exercises and scenarios carried out by naval, missile, and UAV combat units and air-sea, jungle, and rapid response teams. Its primary objective is to showcase the defense capabilities and preparations of the IRGC Navy.

Imam Hussain Battalions of Hormozgan Province and Basij Marine participated in the drill with the support of the IRGC Aerospace Force.
