Iran Press/ West Asia: The 2023 World Weightlifting Championship held in Saudi Arabia ended on Sunday, with the Iranian men's team standing in third place in the contest.
Iran's team participated in the contest with 10 weightlifters and achieved 468 points, with the Chinese and Armenian teams in first and second places, respectively.
The Iranian team could snatch two golds by Mostafa Javadi in the 89 kg category and a bronze medal in the super heavy category by Ali Davoodi.
Hassan Soltani in 81 kg and Ayat Soltani in +109 kg categories failed to win medals.
