Iran Press/ Iran News: In an interview with Iran Press on the sidelines of the closing ceremony of the 35th International Islamic Unity Conference, Sheikh Bilal Saeed Shaban stated that Iranians are praiseworthy and respected; despite 40 years of sanctions, they continue to support those under siege, and despite all the wars against the Islamic Republic, they are still with the oppressed.
"We are facing a historical stage that will eventually lead to the liberation of Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque and the unity of the Arab and Islamic world," he said.
"I believe that a religious mindset has led to a jihadist mindset in support of the Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movements and other resistance factions, which today has become an economic project by exporting oil to Venezuela and Lebanon, which is against US' intentions," he pointed.
"Hence, by creating a network of economic relations between the oppressed Islamic countries, and creating common interests, wars can be prevented," he added.
The 35th edition of the Islamic Unity Conference wrapped up in Tehran on Saturday, October 23, with prominent Muslim scholars, intellectuals, and thinkers from across the globe exchanging their views on the latest issues challenging the world of Islam.
