The head of Iran's Trade Promotion Organization met with the ambassador of Saudi Arabia in Tehran and emphasized the expansion of trade relations between the two countries.

Iran PressIran news:  The head of the Trade Promotion Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mehdi Zaighmi, hosted Abdullah bin Saud Al-Anzi, the Saudi ambassador in Tehran, with the aim of planning trade relations between Tehran and Riyadh.

The focus of these negotiations, which were carried out with the efforts of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Saudi Arabia Investment and Job Opportunities Development Fund, was planning to start and develop business relations between the two countries. The two parties welcomed the exchange of trade delegations to the Islamic Republic of Iran and Saudi Arabia and emphasized the necessity of active participation in the exhibitions  hold in both countries.

In this meeting, Mehdi Zaighmi, while expressing hope for the development of business relations, emphasized the business interactions between Tehran and Riyadh in the field of new and high-tech technologies. He emphasized: "considering the future plans of Saudi Arabia trade in the field of new technologies can benefit both Tehran and Riyadh.

The head of the Trade Promotion Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran also expressed his interest in the presence of Iranian companies in health, food industry and petrochemical exhibitions of Saudi Arabia while requesting the ambassador of this country to make preparations for the presence of the Islamic Republic of Iran in these exhibitions.

The Saudi ambassador in Tehran also in this meeting said that regarding the proposal to attend the country's exhibitions, the preparations for this will be provided by exchanging the list of merchants. In the continuation of this meeting, the two sides discussed various business issues. 219
