Iran Press/ Asia: In an interview with ITV (Social Television Network) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Seyed Abbas Araghchi explaining Iran's plan to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict said: "A realistic view, a regional approach and the participation of influential countries in the region are the features of the Iranian plan, and this plan, with a regional partnership, aims to resolve this issue and help the two sides achieving their demands.
Iran's special envoy for the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, noting that everyone's duty in this situation is to consider every effort they can make and any ideas that may work, added: "Iran's proposal has been made in good faith and seeks to end human and non-human casualties in the Nagorno-Karabakh region."
"If all parties are in good faith and the intervention of some countries outside the region that seek to destroy relations is prevented, we can reach a conclusion," Araghchi said.
Iran's political deputy foreign minister said that Tehran had begun contacts to end the crisis from the beginning of the hostilities in the Karabakh region, adding: "Iran's stance has always been to support the territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan, to oppose the occupation and to emphasize the liberation of the occupied territories, and this approach has not changed over the past 27 years."
