Tehran (IP) – Iran registered 100 death cases due to COVID-19 during the past 24 hours, the lowest number since April 4th.

Iran PressIran News: Iran's Health Ministry announced on Friday that 100 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 128,734.

According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to November 19, 2021, 6,069,559 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 5,759,378 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 5,784 cases, out of whom 893 patients were hospitalized.

3,431 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 37,574,663 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 26 cities are red, 87 are orange, 222 are yellow, and 113 are blue zones. 

So far, 56,383,179 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 44,051,743 have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 101,140,118 doses.
