Abuja (IP) - The developing countries in the world especially African nations, were advised to copy Iran's ideas and strategies in order to make their independency worthy of status.

Iran PressAfrica: The famous security analyst, Executive Secretary of Nigeria's Anti-corruption Network, and expert on International Relations, Honorable  Ebenezer Oyetake, made this in an exclusive interview with Iran Press in Abuja.

"I have always been saying that, for a country in bracket, developing nations to make their sovereignty and independency worthy of the status, they must learn to be like Iran. This is one country that has been under comprehensive economic blockade for four and a half decades if not more than that, yet the Iran's developmental stride in form of technology, science and even economic development has been astonishing to the world," said Ebenezer Oyetake, who is the National President Nigeria Youth Organisation.

The security analyst added: ''The Western sanctions on Iran were intended to cripple the country, but instead, the challenge made Iran the dominant military power in the Persian Gulf and the Arabian peninsula. These are some of the things that I think countries in developing nations should copy the ideas of Iran, particularly those that are not under sanctions. They can copy and use that idea to develop themselves strategically and speed up their comprehensive development."

Ebenezer further said that Iran's military and defense power had become a very formidable power of deterrence, saying: "Sometimes, 25 years ago, the aircraft carriers of the United States in the Arabian peninsula were threat to Iran. The naval presence of the United States, their submarines, surface ships, and their aircraft carriers were all threats to the Iranian nation. That was some twenty-five years ago, but today, they are all under target of Iran. And to that extent, Iranian military and armaments have helped them to maintain the formidable international and Intercontinental diplomacy." The expert cited examples of the destructive attitudes of the West when Gibraltar seized an Iranian ship under the United Kingdom.

"After several warnings by Iran, but did not release the oil tanker, the Iranians seized two oil tankers belonging to the United Kingdom. When they discovered that one of it were more of Liberian tanker than the United Kingdom, they released it. This forced the release of Iran's tanker. So, that is the power of deterrence. Today, there is no place for the weak, the fragmented. You must possess the power of deterrence, particularly if your country is lucky to be among the countries that are the first in diplomatic parlance as an essential pivot. Iran is an essential pivot..." " he added.

"Today, after all the sanctions, Iran is evolving. Russia is partnering with Iran, China is partnering with Iran, and African countries have relations with Iran. If I were the head of government, I would maintain a very formidable strategic partnership with the Iranian nation because every technology and scientific education you think you want to access or development you want to access where for it will cost you hundreds of millions of dollars in those Western nations, and you will gain nothing for it, but if you strategically partner Iran, you would spend less, but you would see yourself assuming the status of the developing nation that can craft and create your own technology and evolved technologically.

Today, both in the Persian Gulf and the Arabian Peninsula, the Iranian nation is the most formidable nation militarily, the most formidable nation in terms of technology that are homegrown."

Recently, Iranians made a hypersonic missile which was created by themselves. How many countries have been able to launch their own? The United States is still researching on its own to perfect it, but Iranians have launched their own hypersonic missile, joining Russia and China, which are the ones that have hypersonic missiles we are talking about currently.

So, it is a formidable instrument of international diplomacy within the context of; there is no place for the weak, the fragmented, and those who want to keep on maintaining dependency on other nations because when a tree grows on another tree, the tree dies immediately the bearer dies. So, Iran is standing on her own feet. And many countries want to have relations with Iran, particularly in the African continent, but they are in fear of their colonial masters; that is a tragedy of a nation. Because relating with Iran will enable you to move faster, develop your own technology, and navigate a good country on your own term.

Iran's power is a compound power. Just like the United States that has created NATO, Iran has successfully created its alliance, and those alliances are more trustworthy than NATO's alliance. If you dare attack Iran, it is a diplomatic success for Iran. A triumph of diplomacy, "said Honorable Ebenezer Oyetake.
