Tehran(IP): The Deputy Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) for Legal Affairs said plenty of information and documents were provided to the Judiciary to prove the direct order of the former US president for the assassination of Lt. Gen. Qassem Soleimani.

Iran PressIran News:  Sohrab-Ali Shamkhani said on Monday: "In several aspects, we cooperated with the judiciary, both to the officer and to the relevant plaintiff; plenty of information and documents have been provided to the judiciary to prove the crimes committed by the direct order of US' president."

The legal deputy of IRGC said that thousands of comprehensive documents have been prepared and provided to the judiciary, expressing hope that the issue will be resolved as soon as possible.

"A verdict is on the verge of issuing in the case of the assassination of  Lt. Gen Martyr Soleimani and it will be concluded soon," he continued.

Shamkhani stated that thousands of people had filed a lawsuit in court to bring the perpetrators of the heinous crime to justice.

Also, another keynote speaker of the session, the Special investigator for International Affairs, Saeed Farhadinia, said that the assassination of Lt. Gen Martyr Soleimani is an absolute violation of the Convention on Terrorism and Resolution 1556, for which the US should be responsible.

He added: "124 perpetrators have been identified and arrest warrants have been issued for 43 people and also 13 specialized meetings have been held with 700 correspondences; Of course, 9 countries have been given judicial commission to pursue this case".
