Iran Press/ Iran news: Iran's Judiciary Chief Gholamhossein Mohseni-Ejei in his letter stated that due to Asghar Jahangir's demonstrated ability and valuable records in various judicial positions, he is appointed as the new spokesperson for the judiciary.
Jahangir is a graduate of criminal law and criminology from the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of Tehran University. In addition to specializing in criminal law and criminology, he also has a doctorate in strategic management and is an assistant professor at the university.
Asghar Jahangir previously held offices such as the judge of the Supreme Court of the country, the head of the government employees' prosecutor's office, the advisor to the head of the judiciary, the head of the special inspection office of the judiciary, the head of the prisons organization, and currently he is the vice president of social affairs and crime prevention of the judiciary.
