Tehran(IP)- Iran's Minister of Health warned against population decline in the country calling it a catastrophic phenomenon having an impact on the future of the Islamic Nation.

Iran PressIran news: Iranian Minister of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education Bahram Einollahi who was delivering a speech prior to the sermons of the Friday Prayers on Friday, May 19, 2023, called the field of Health the most important sector in the post-Islamic Revolution era which also has witnessed the eye-catching growth contrary to the Pre revolution era when Iran was closely dependent on the West.

Further More, Bahram Einollahi went on to stress the fact that life expectancy has undergone a great growth in Post Islamic Revolution Era as well increasing from 55 years old to 75 years old.

According to Iran's Minister of Health, the noticeable decrease in the newborn babies' death toll as well as the mothers despite the cruel sanctions imposed against the country serves as good proof of Iran's great progress in the health sector signifying the country's soft power as well.

Referring to the bravery of Iran's Medical staff in the 8 years of scared defense especially in the treatment of chemically injured Iranian civilians and the legendary.

He also praised the medical achievements with the framework of the knowledge-based companies in Iran.

However; referring to the decline in Iran's population, Iran's Minister of Heath called the phenomenon as catastrophic and warned that in case of not taking the proper measures to encounter and solve it the future of the Islamic nation would be problematic.

Elsewhere, Einollahi also said that as part of the 13th government's efforts to solve the problem, 9 directives signed by the minister have been imparted to Iran's universities of medical sciences.

It is noteworthy that all of these measures are done within the Youthful Population and Protection of the Family law format.

The Minister of Health also said that 28,000 nurses and 22,000 healthcare workers have been trained for the very goal.
