Iran Press/ Iran News: Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Seyyed Abbas Mousavi congratulated all defenders of Iran's territory on the occasion of the Army Day.
He wrote on his Twitter page on Friday, April 17: "What has made Iran's glorious army famous and distinguished in the world, apart from its combat skills, is its belonging to the people and its reliance on the indigenous capabilities. Belief in God, belief in people and belief in Iran are ingrained in the souls of these glorious forces."
April 17 in the Iranian calendar has been named ‘Army Day’ at the initiative of Imam Khomeini, the late founder of the Islamic Revolution.
