Iran Press/Iran news: Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi said on Saturday that the Ministry of Health, under the National Headquarters for Combating Coronavirus, made requests from the General Staff of the Armed Forces.
"One of the issues is assisting screening in the society by fixed and field clinics launched by the armed forces, which have been on the agenda since yesterday, and the screening have been scheduled to take place within a short period of time," he said.
The spokesman of the Armed forces added: "The foreign media is inciting the people and instigating them to take contradictory decisions in the face of General Staff of the Armed Forces and Imam Reza's headquarters' decisions."
Shekarchi continued: "The other major issue is the increase in hospital beds, which many Armed Forces' hospital beds are at the disposal of patients and the Ministry of Health, and is expected to double in size, with about 10,000 beds for patients who are suspicious." 104/207/201
