Moscow (IP)- The head of Iran's National Standard Organization (INSO) announced the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between Tehran and Moscow on standards.

Iran PressEurope: Mehdi Eslam-Panah made the remarks upon his arrival in Moscow on Sunday evening.

In response to Iran Press about the purpose of his trip to Moscow, Eslam-Panah stated that relations between Iran and Russia are strategic and that cooperation will expand in all fields.

Talking about the cooperation between Iran and Russia in the field of standards, he said, the standard is the scientific language in foreign trade and any business should be done based on it.

The head of INSO stated that the standard is the common language of the countries in the export and import of goods, and in Moscow, we will sign a cooperation agreement on the standard.

With the signing of the MoC between Tehran and Moscow, a common standard will be defined for exported goods from Iran, as well as imported goods from Russia, consumer goods, and Halal products.
