Iran Press/ Europe: Iran's Oil Minister Javad Owji, in a meeting with Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller on Wednesday evening, poointed to the bright prospects of this program and the creation of the Iran-Russia gas corridor through neighboring countries within the framework of regional cooperation.
Iran's oil minister also pointed to the positive views of the presidents of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Russia on the establishment of a gas center in the south of Iran, and emphasized the efforts of Tehran and Moscow in this regard.
The head of the Iranian joint commission for economic cooperation between Iran and Russia, referring to his talks on Wednesday with Alexander Novak, the deputy prime minister and the head of the Russian side of this joint commission, demanded that practical steps must be taken to establish a gas center between Iran and Russia on the northern coast of the Persian Gulf.
In this meeting, Miller, CEO of Gazprom, also pointed to the growing trend of Tehran-Moscow relations and announced the readiness of this Russian state-owned company for new cooperation with Iran.
