Iran Press/ Iran news: Bahram Einollahi said that the World Health Organization is the center of medical and health activities in the region and based on the division of labor of this international organization, we will have good cooperation in the field of family health.
Bahram Einollahi, Minister of Health, Treatment and Medical Education, attending a press conference this morning (Sunday), in response to an exclusive question raised by an Iran Press News Agency correspondent, added that Iranian experts have always cooperated well with the World Health Organization and regarding family health issues as well. They will interact with countries in the region and the world.
The Minister of Health also said that to share services and experiences in the field of insurance and family health, the first international conference "Universal health coverage with family health program and referral system" will be held in Tehran by inviting health ministers of regional and world countries.
Einollahi recalled that the family health plan was started in the past years in the form of family medical services aimed at the administration of justice and excellence of the health system and its achievements have always been reviewed.
The Minister of Health stated that Iran's experiences regarding family health and the services provided to Iranians will be discussed at the international conference on family health, adding that this plan has been welcomed by the international community.
Einollahi also said that so far the ministers of health of Qatar, Kenya, Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan, Oman, Brazil, Pakistan, Egypt, Syria, Cuba, Tajikistan, India, Uzbekistan, Lebanon, Tunisia, Libya, Iraq, Kuwait, and Afghanistan have attended the first international conference "Universal Health Coverage with Family Health Program and Referral System" has been announced.
The Minister of Health said about the other goals of the upcoming conference, to promote medicine exports, medicine manufacturing companies will hold side exhibitions in the conference.
The first international conference "Universal health coverage with family health program and referral system" will be held in Tehran on March 5th and 6th with the presence of health ministers of the region and the world.
