Zahedan (IP) – Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has emphasized the need for Iran to emerge as a regional model of progress, highlighting the nation’s commitment to achieving its Development Vision Plan, as outlined by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

Iran Press/Iran news: During a visit to the southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan on Thursday, Pezeshkian addressed a gathering of local investors and economic stakeholders. He emphasized the importance of realizing Iran’s potential and ensuring it fulfills its strategic vision.

“It is not fitting for a nation with a meticulously crafted development roadmap to fall behind its regional peers,” Pezeshkian said, urging for greater innovation and determination.

The president stressed that scientific, systematic approaches were essential for Iran to claim its rightful place as a leader in the realms of industry, economy, science, and technology.

“Iran, as envisioned in the Supreme Leader’s development outlook, must become a developed nation. It should lead the region in economic growth, scientific advancements, and industrial excellence, while inspiring others as a role model. Achieving this demands a fundamental shift in how we tackle challenges,” he explained.

Pezeshkian also reaffirmed the government’s commitment to collaborating with the private sector to overcome economic obstacles.
