Iran Press/ Middle East: Masjedi added on Wednesday that despite the problems caused by the coronavirus and its restrictions, Iran's border crossings were gradually opened to trade and continue economic activities with Iraq.
"Trade at the two countries' borders initially was carried out two days a week, which has now increased to four days after the reopening at the beginning of the week."
Masjedi noted that trade conditions between Iran and Iraq are normalizing and going back to what was before the pandemic.
The Iranian ambassador to Iraq also referred to the consultations between the two countries' officials and added that since the formation of Mustafa al-Kazemi's government in Iraq, dozens of meetings with the country's ministers and economic officials have been held.
