Iran Press/Iran News: Sattari arrived in Kermanshah on Saturday morning and visited different parts of the province’s Science and Technology Park and said that these parks are one of the pillars of scientific development in each province.
Emphasizing the importance of indigenizing the required products in the country, he added that relying on domestic power, the production of various Iranian goods has increased with the activity of knowledge-based companies.
Sattari referred to the fight against the coronavirus outbreak and said both medical and protective equipment and medicines are produced domestically, reporting promising development to happen in making the coronavirus vaccine.
Meanwhile, the construction of the BZN2 catalyst manufacturing unit in the Kermanshah’s Polymer Complex began with the presence of Iran’s Vice President for Science and Technology.
The complex is located in Bisotun Industrial Park that provides the pipes needed for irrigation and gas supply projects in Iran through the activity of its expert force.
The BZN2 catalyst production unit will be put into operation next year, with 50 tons of catalysts to be produced annually in the complex.
Sattari also attended the permanent exhibition of the health equipment of Kermanshah’s University of Medical Sciences and visited 25 products on display.
