Iran Press/ Iran news: Sorena Sattari, Vice President for Science and Technology, arrived in Mashhad to develop the ecology of technology and innovation, unveil Iranian knowledge-based and creative products, and build and open innovation centers and was welcomed by provincial officials.
In the first part of his trip, the Vice President for Science and Technology, accompanied by Yaghub Ali Nazari, the governor of Khorasan Razavi, visited the exhibition of knowledge-based and creative achievements of the province met with activists.
Forty-one knowledge-based and creative companies are present in the exhibition, which have presented various products in advanced technologies, soft technologies, and creative industries.
Sorena Sattari also inaugurated the second phase of the Tarshiz Innovation and Acceleration Center via video conference.
The first phase of the center was put into operation last year in the presence of the Vice President for Science and Technology, and with the opening of the second phase of the center, the ground will be prepared for the establishment of 12 teams in an area of 1,020 square meters.
The inauguration of the Medicinal Plants Innovation Center of Gonabad University of Medical Sciences via video conference was another part of Sattari's visit to Khorasan Razavi province.
With the support of the Vice President for Science and the benefit of human resources and specialists, the center has established a center for innovation of medicinal plants, as well as providing laboratory infrastructure for the processing and technology of medicinal plants to create jobs.
