Iran Press/ Iran News: The Spokeswoman for the Iranian Ministry of Health Sima Sadat Lari said on Sunday (August 16) that the total number of coronavirus cases in the country has reached 343,203.
Sima Sadat Lari said, with 147 new deaths in the past 24 hours, the death toll from the virus has reached 19,639.
Unfortunately, 2,133 new cases were diagnosed since yesterday, 1,019 of whom were hospitalized and the total number of COVID-19 patients reached 343,203, Lari said.
According to the spokeswoman, 3,881 patients are under severe conditions.
The spokeswoman also added that 2,861,825 coronavirus diagnostic tests have been conducted in Iran so far.
