Mashhad (IP) - On the occasion of Eid al-Ghadir, the squares of Mashhad, the center of Khorasan Razavi, in northeastern Iran was decorated and festooned with flowers.

Iran Press/Iran news: Basij, Bait ul Muqaddas, Palestine and Ghadir squares were decorated with flowers, and the streets leading to the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS), the eighth Imam of the Shia, were festooned with colorful flags.

Also on the occasion of the Eid, carnivals of joy with the teenagers singing in the evenings as they move in the streets of Holy Mashhad and distribute cultural gifts among the people.

The city of Mashhad is still in the red situation amidst the outbreak of the Coronavirus and it is forbidden to hold any gathering, including celebrations and religious rituals there.
