China is the world's largest producer of watermelon with 67% of total production. Turkey, Iran, Brazil, and Egypt have the next rankings with less than 4% of world production.

It is worth noting that most of Iran's watermelon is exported to countries such as Iraq, Turkey, UAE, Kuwait, and Bahrain.
