Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi

Tehran (IP) - Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister said Tehran will continue its peaceful nuclear program under the rules and agreements with International Atomic Energy Agency, and whenever its interests are served in the agreement, Iran is ready to return to all its commitments.

Iran Press/Iran News: In a note published in a special issue of the Polish publication Politika Polska on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), Abbas Araghchi wrote about the goals of the Islamic Republic of Iran in pursuing a peaceful nuclear program.

"The use of peaceful energy is the inalienable right of the Iranian people, and we will not surrender this right to American bullying," he said.

"Despite the heavy costs of sanctions, we hold ourselves accountable to future generations for not accepting the coercion and domination of bullying powers."

Araqchi stressed Iran's right to acquire peaceful nuclear energy and added: "Iran has no doubts about achieving nuclear capability and for the peaceful use of this capability in the way of national development."
