Tehran (IP)- Iran's President Hassan Rouhani called for greater unity between the government and parliament, saying: "Now, the time is not ripe for parliamentary and government disputes and all bodies must help each other completely."

Iran Press/Iran News:  Hassan Rouhani on Sunday at a meeting of the National Taskforce for Combating Coronavirus emphasized that in the current situation, unity is the only way for us to succeed.

Referring to the resurge of COVID-19 in many parts of the country and the Health care system's efforts to control the situation, President Rouhani  added, "All the officials I know have not rested for a day during the six months of pandemic and are working continuously."

Referring to the government's actions during the Corona era, the President said: "Of course, this does not mean that all people's problems have been solved. We have helped people, whose jobs have been lost. The livelihood packages were allocated to three million people in the last four months."

He stated: "These measures are the maximum capability of the government and the government has used all its power and today we do not need to borrow from abroad not even the central bank."

Rouhani also announced the government's decision to support renters.
