Belarusian Parliament Speaker called for further expansion of effective talks between Iran and Belarus legislative bodies.

Iran PressEurope: In a message of congratulation to his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, the Belarusian Parliament Speaker 'Vladimir Andreichenko' stressed that Belarus will contribute to realizing the significant capacities of the collaborations between the two countries along the elevation of the nations' welfare. 

"Your work in the crucial position will lead to further development of fruitful dialogue between the legislative bodies of Iran and Belarus," he addressed the Iranian Parliament Speaker Qalibaf.

Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf was elected as the speaker of Iran's parliament with 230 votes in favor on May 28.

On April 2, Iran’s Ambassador to Belarus Saeed Yari met with the Belarus Minister of Industry Pavel Utyupin. During the meeting, two officials talk about the latest economic and trade cooperation between the two countries and the time and arrangements for the 15th meeting of the Joint Economic Commission.

The two sides also discussed ways to expand Iran-Belarus cooperation in various economic, industrial, and commercial sectors.

About 800 Iranian students, mostly in medical sciences, are studying at the Belarusian universities with most of them studying at Minsk State Medical University.
