The remarks of Iran's Leader of the Islamic Revolution regarding the murder of a black American citizen by the US police attracted the attention of the world media.

Iran Press/Iran News: Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, on Wednesday in a live televised speech on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the demise of Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic, referring to the murder of a black American citizen by the police, stated that the current events of the United States are considered to be the manifestation of the hidden, hidden realities of this country.

The Associated Press reported that Ayatollah Khamenei, regarding the murder of George Floyd, had criticized Washington for pursuing deceptive human rights policies.

Addressing the United States, Ayatollah Khamenei said: "They are openly killing people and they are not apologizing while claiming to protect human rights."

The Associated Press also quoted Leader of the Islamic Revolution as saying: "We cannot breathe." Ayatollah Khamenei said, "This is nothing new." This is the nature of America; That's what Americans have done all over the world.

Reflecting Ayatollah Khamenei's speech, AFP published Iran's Leader's remarks about US mismanagement in the fight against the coronavirus at the same time as the "George Floyd" issue.

The assassination of the unarmed black man by US police showed the true face of US leaders and their oppression of the people of the world, including their own country, the news agency quoted the Leader of the Islamic Revolution as saying.

Ayatollah Khamenei's remarks on racist US policies also made headlines in some Spanish-language media.

"Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei likened the death of black American citizen George Floyd to US violence against many countries, including Afghanistan and Iraq," the Spanish news agency EFE reported.

Reflecting the Leader of the Islamic Revolution's condemnation of racist policies, the Spanish media wrote: Ayatollah Khamenei attributed the anti-racist protests in American cities to the fact that they had been kept secret until now.

The La Vanguardia newspaper also covered his remarks in a report titled "Iranian leader blames Floyd's death on US nature".

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution's remarks were also widely reported in other media outlets around the world, including the Rai Al-Youm newspaper, the Lebanese Al-Ahd news website, Russia's Sputnik, and the Al-Mayadin, Al-Manar, Al-Jazeera, and Aletejah TV television channels.
