Zarif sent a letter to Guterres on US violation of commitments: FM Spox

Tehran (IP) - Foreign Ministry Spokesman Seyyed Abbas Mousavi in a tweet noted that FM Mohammad Javad Zarif has sent a letter to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres regarding US non-compliance to its commitments and imposing sanctions against Iran.

Iran PressIran News: Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Seyyed Abbas Mousavi in his latest tweet on Friday 8 May said that in a letter to the UN Secretary-General, Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif reminded important points on US' illegal withdrawal from the JCPOA, unilateral sanctions against Iran and gross, repeated and constant violations of the UN Charter, especially Article 25 of the UN Charter which threatens credit and sovereignty of the body, international peace, and security.

Iranian Foreign Minister also in a phone call with EU Foreign Policy Chief Josep Borrell discussed the latest regional and international developments, JCPOA, and the fight against the spread of the Coronavirus in the world.
