Tehran (IP) - Vice President for Science and Technology Sorena Sattari said the capital of the country's Islamic Azad universities are their active and motivated students.

Iran Press/Iran news: Sattari made the remarks in the inauguration ceremony of House Innovation and Development of Regional Industries, by the attendance of the Head of Islamic Azad University Mohammad-Mahdi Tehranchi. 

The VP referred to the great developments that are taking place in the Islamic Azad universities around the country, saying: "Islamic Azad University must not concern about its expenses, instead it must focus on active and motivated youth as its capital."

Sattari concluded his remarks by saying: "Such a university with this number of students must be the economic hub of the country."

The head of the Islamic Azad University Mohammad-Mahdi Tehranchi said that a new training venue is needed to change the Islamic Azad University to a 'roblem- Solving' university. 

Referring to the allocation of a suitable place for the Islamic Azad University in this regard, Mohammad-Mahdi Tehranchi added: "We do not focus on Iran's capital only, we consider the whole country to move towards 'Surge in Production'."

He also stressed that the students of the Islamic Azad University would be evaluated with the 'efficiency index' to be graduated. 

On the sideline of this ceremony, an agreement was signed between Sorena Sattari and Mohammad Mahdi Tehranchi to establish a technology university in Pardis Technology Park.

In this regard, the head of Pardis Technology Park Mahdi Saffarinia said that the relationship between industry and university is our government’s main concerns

He added that the technology university would focus on graduate students - undergraduate and Ph.D. studies.  

"Proper facilities like job opportunities in companies of Pardis Park are considered for them, and the university and Pardis Technology Park will be considered as one united place," Mahdi Saffarinia noted. 101/207
