Saudis must stop illusion over Yemen: FM Spox

Tehran (IP) - Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman rejected the Saudi coalition’s claim on the presence of the Iranian advisors in Yemen and said that the Saudis must leave hallucinations.

Iran PressMiddle East: Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Seyyed Abbas Mousavi said on Wednesday 1 April that the Saudi regime’s claims are baseless and added that the regime invaded Yemen with the illusion of victory over the country but they are coping with the illusion for 5 years.

"The Saudis’ acts of aggression have had no achievements but destruction and massacre of the Yemeni people," Mousavi stressed.

"Instead of illusions, the Saudis had better consider the facts including the resistance of the Yemeni nation against the aggressions as well as the international community’s hatred of the Saudi regime," he added.

The spokesman reiterated that Saudi’s play with words, projection, and accusations against others does not compensate for their defeats.

Considering the UN's offer of the ceasefire to fight Coronavirus and Yemen’s accepting it, Mousavi once again called on the aggressors to remain committed to the agreement and end their crimes against Yemeni people.
