Zarif calls on world to stop watching US sanctions
Tehran (IP) - Iranian Foreign Minister said that even the largest economy in the world needs international aids to fight with coronavirus, calling on other countries to stop watching the US sanctions against Iran.
Sharing a report by The Wall Street Journals about Donald Trump's request to receive South Korean supplies to fight with the coronavirus outbreak, Iranian Foreign Minister underlined that "even the world's largest economy needs others to help it fight the pandemic, yet refuses to halt its economic terrorism against Iran."
Zarif also called on the international community "to stop observing the bully's sanctions," described it as a "moral imperative."
While international organizations and various countries emphasize the need to cooperate with Iran to contain Coronavirus, the US Secretary of State said on Wednesday that the maximum pressure on Iran will continue.
Despite the US claims that the medicine is not sanctioned, its inhumane sanctions have prevented Iran from accessing medicines and healthcare items to prevent the coronavirus outbreak and improve the corona-infected patients.
