New Corona detection lab Launch at Pasteur Institute of Iran

Tehran (IP): Head of Pasteur Institute of Iran Alireza Biglari said on Saturday that the new Coronavirus laboratory with the capacity of more than 600 tests daily is set up at the Pasteur Institute of Iran.

Iran PressIran news: Alireza Biglari further stated, "Since two months ago that the Covid-19 virus began spreading in China, valuable steps have been taken to design diagnostic methods at the Pasteur Institute of Iran.”

Biglari noted, "More than 50 environmental laboratories have been set up in different provinces of Iran and all of them are working with the Pasteur Institute of Iran in a common protocol. This is a strong point for our country.”

“The World Health Organization (WHO) experts who recently visited the Pasteur Institute of Iran said one of Iran's strengths in combating coronavirus is the laboratory diagnosis and the creation of an integrated system in the country, which is an honor for Iran,” he added.
