    Iranian Parliament Speaker, Health Minister discussed on latest developments

Tehran (IP)- Ali Larijani, Speaker of Parliament on Friday's meeting with Saeed Namaki, Head of the National Headquarters for Corona Disease Management, received a report on the latest developments, requirements, and measures taken to tackle the disease nationwide.

Iran Press/Iran News: The parliament speaker also emphasized on deploying of some headquarters' members in the provinces where the virus is spread, in particular Qom, Gilan, and Tehran.

Larijani also called for the Minister of Health and Medical Education to pursue health aid from other countries.

Speaking at the meeting the speaker of the Majlis described the condition of the disease management as a whole and up to this moment appropriate and added, "The people's need for health items should be addressed as soon as possible in addition to equipping health centers with preventive measures in the province."

The ones that are most prevalent in the city of Qom, which have the highest prevalence of corona disease, should be speeded up.

Larijani, referring to his contacts with the speakers of the parliaments of some countries and other actions in the international field added, "It is useful to send the required items to Iran by some countries."

Iran's Parliament speaker asked to find a solution to compensate for the decline in the number of businesses in the country because of the Corona outbreak.

At the beginning of the visit, Saeed Namaki presented a detailed report on the latest developments on the coronavirus, measures taken nationwide, how to monitor and meet people's needs for health care, equipping and supporting health centers.
