Iran Press/Middle East: Iraqis from all walks of life walked out to Baghdad street to voice their support for the country's unity and national integrity. Iraq's top Shia cleric has said new PM must be chosen without foreign interference. Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali al-Sistani demanded people to avoid the act of violence.
On the 5th of December also, in a bid to follow the teachings of Islamic religious authority in Iraq, the people of the Iraqi capital have staged a massive protest calling for ousting the rioters from the course of the rallies.
The event has been dubbed as the" Expelling the saboteurs".
Thousands of Iraqis have taken to the streets to voice for backing the Iraqi Islamic Authority. They were also chanting against USA, Saudis regime as well as the Zionist regime.
Also on November 29th Iraq's most senior cleric and source of emulation Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali al-Sistani have called on peaceful protesters in Najaf and Dhi Qar provinces to disassociate themselves from rioters and saboteurs.
The new round of popular demonstrations in Iraq in a peaceful manner began as of October 25, in various cities, including Baghdad the capital, Karbala, Basra, Najaf and other cities in protest at corruption and the poor state of the economy.
The Iraqis peaceful protests are aimed at forcing the government to meet their demands.
The demonstrations have turned violent with the Iraqi government blaming Iraq's enemies for supporting and funding violent protests in Iraq. 205/219
